More money in bodybuilding sponsorships

Could the formation of the PDI and the defection of the sports most popular bodybuilder, Lee Priest, mean that more money will start coming into the sport? Now that the IFBB no longer has the monopoly on the competitive market, will leading sponsors look at broadening the scope of their sponsorship dollars? Or will it mean the same amount of money spread even thinner over more federations? Only time will tell.
